Press Release:  South African welterweight kingpin Joseph  Makaringe will fight for a regional title at Graceland Casino in Secunda, South Africa on Friday, August 26th.  Makaringe, 27-2 and rated #28 in the Boxingtalk world ratings, will face the tough Ghanaian southpaw and that country's national champion, Phillip Kotey.  Kotey has suffered just one defeat in 18 professional fights and put an end to 11 of those via the short route. "We are very proud to have made such huge strides with Makaringe in such a short space of time," beamed promoter Branco Milenkovic. The three main supporting bouts on the Graceland card will feature Lawrence Ngobeni, Anthony Tshela and local Secunda drawcard Sonnyboy Magazi.
