Main Events tops Bostick in NJ court

Edited Press Release:  Judge Harriett Klein in Newark, New Jersey has dismissed claims of tortious interference that were brought by Bobby Bostick Promotions against Main Events. Bostick asserted claims against Main Events signing of IBF welterweight champion Kermit Cintron.  Judge Klein ruled that Main Events did nothing wrong with respect to Cintron and she dismissed Bostick’s complaint against Main Events “in its entirety.” Bostick had claimed in the litigation that Main Events had interfered with Bostick’s contractual rights. Cintron is, in turn, suing Bostick claiming, among other things, that Bostick breached its contract to him by failing to  pay him substantial sums of money, while Bostick still claims to have the right to promote Cintron in the future. Cintron is training for a July 14 title defense against Walter Mathysse to be held in Atlantic City.
