Press Release: Promoter Felix “Tuto” Zabala, Jr. announced a new main event for Boxeo Telemundo at the 4th & B Hall in San Diego, California on Friday, November 17, 2006. The original main event between Alejandro “Payasito” Hernandez and Jonathan Perez had to be postponed until December 8, 2006 at Kissimmee Civic Center in Kissimmee, because the work visa for Hernandez was not received on time in order for him to travel to San Diego. In the new main event, Juan Carlos “Camello” Rodriguez of Guadalajara, Mexico will face William Morelo of Monteria, Colombia in a junior welterweight twelve rounder. The veteran Rodriguez brings a record of 53-20-2-38 KOs and has only lost 1 fight in his last 17. The younger Morelo brings a record of 23-5-17 KO’s.
