The former European super middleweight champion is hoping put himself in position for a title fight later this year. This will be Larsen´s fifth fight since his comeback last May. In October, Larsen (49-2, 37 KOs) saw off Emiliano Cayetano after defeating Nader Hamdan, Hector Javier Velazco and Vasily Andriyanov. “Kiel is not far from Denmark, so I am sure there will be many Danish fans coming over. That will be an additional motivation – it will be like a home match for me.” The 34-year-old veteran Ross Thompson (26-11, 16 KOs), who has fought opponents like Fernando Vargas, Kelly Pavlik and Jeff Lacy. He has been in Germany sparring with current European middleweight champion Sebastian Sylvester.
