Press Release: At the IBF's second weigh-in this morning, both Silence Mabuza and Ricard "Chapo" Vargas made the IBF's day-of-the-fight weight limit of 128 pounds. Vargas weighed in at 126.5 pounds and Mabuza, who had the easier time making the 118-pound bantamweight limit at yesterday's New York Athletic Commission weigh-in, had to take off his sweat suit to scale 128 on the nose. Mabuza and Vargas will battle for the IBF mandatory
contender position on DiBella Entertainment's Broadway Boxing show in New York City tonight. The current IBF champion is Rafael Marquez.
