Earns shot at winner of Harris-Urkal II

Junior welterweight Souleymane M'baye defeated Andreas Kotelnik by split decision in Levallois, France on Thursday.  Official scores were 117-111, 115-113 for M'baye and 115-114 for Kotelnik. M'baye, rated #18 by Boxingtalk before the bout, can now sit back and enjoy Saturday's bout between Vivian Harris and Oktay Urkal knowing he will have the right to face the winner for the WBA regular title(legitimate world champion Kostya Tzsyu is recognized by the WBA as a super champion).   M'baye is 30-1 with his only loss coming against Harris (Boxingtalk #5).  Kotelnik (Boxingtalk #15 coming in) suffered his first loss since turning pro after the 2000 Olympics.  source: boxing.de
