Juárez (37-4) worked best at a distance and took the fight round by round, tempering the warrior spirit of Sánchez, who at age 25 is about thirteen years younger than Juarez. The bout took place at a packed Community Development Center of Tequisquiapan, Mexico on a show presented by Latin KO Promotions, directed by Oswaldo Küchle, supported by the Municipal Government of Tequisquiapan, headed by Héctor Magaña Rentería.
