For the second time in his career, former WBC champion Luis Nery has missed the 118-pound bantamweight limit. This time, it will cost him a fight, as the scheduled pay-per-view bout between Nery and former IBF champion Emmanuel Rodriguez has been called off. After Nery failed to make weight, Rodriguez opted not to fight.  Nery is 30-0 but lost his title on the scales in 2018. However, that fight went ahead and Nery defeated Shinsuke Yamanaka. A featherweight rematch between Leduan Barthelemy (15-0-1) and Eduardo Ramirez (22-2-3) will open tomorrow's pay-per-view show prior to the Deontay Wilder-Luis Ortiz II main event. Barthelemy and Ramirez fought to a draw in 2017. source: pbc social media
