Can Lucian Gonzalez Become “the Prospect Killer?”

A native of Puerto Rico, now living in Reading PA, the 4-4 Lucian Armando Gonzalez is looking to upset the undefeated Jules Blackwell, 7-0 with 2 knockouts.  Gonzalez is coming off of a win over another previously unbeaten fighter, Danny McDermott, now 4-1-1 with 2 knockouts.  If Gonzalez-McDermott had been caught on tape it might have been a candidate for fight of the year (shame on VS for turning the cameras off).  Gonzalez-McDermott was back and forth toe to toe action that cannot be given justice by mere words.  Now Gonzalez looks to upset Jules Blackwell.  The young prospect Blackwell is a Blue Horizon staple having fought all of his seven professional fights at the famed arena.  Gonzalez was quoted as saying, “I love fighting undefeated fighters and I am going to knock off another one tonight.”
