Press Release: Houston based Cameron Park and former heavyweight contender Lou Savarese have created Rock Solid Promotions. On October 12, 2006 they will stage its first professional boxing event, showcasing some of Houston's rising stars and the pro debut of a mixed matial arts legend. Light heavyweight "Hard Hittin" Chris Henry, 15-0 with 14 KOs, will be featured in the main event. The co-feature will involve Chase "The White Tiger" Shields. The former Texas Southern University strong safety is 20-0-1 with 11 KOs as a pro. Former UFC heavyweight champion Ricco Rodriguez makes his pro boxing debut ring on the same show. Also appearing will be heavyweight Bobby "El Jefe" Flores and 15-3 cruiserweight "Diamond" Dominique Alexander who fights in Texas for the first time in almost two years.
