Lineberger calls out 49 year old for a fight!

Press Release: Upon hearing the news that Mitch "Blood" Green signed on to face Butterbean in a boxing sideshow this July , Ohio-based heavyweight George "The Terminator" Linberger decided to take his hopes of securing his own match against Green public.  Green has only won twice in the last eleven years, but for some reason, Linberger has been attempting to secure a fight with him since 2005. Green's handlers flirted with the idea, but in the end settled for a fight with Butterbean  (who can blame them? The out-of-shape Butterbean's weight ballooned to near 400 in his recent fights). Linberger defeated Butterbean in October 2005.  Linberger had this to say about why he wants to fight Green so badly, "We can get it on together, in Nashville or anywhere else you feel comfortable fighting.  If you're serious about your comeback, why are you going after my leftovers? I will terminate any thought of you getting the Bean. If by some miracle you win, you'll have hardware to take with you for any future fight you want, with the Bean or anyone else. Let's see if Mike Tyson is right; is your name Mitch Green or Bitch Green?"   sincerely,  George "The Terminator" Linberger. Boxingtalk suggests that Lineberger give Tony Tubbs a call. He's only 48, but he's won four straight including Brian Minto. Â
