Lewkowicz doing fine after press conference KO!

Press Release: Warrior Boxing has announced that matchmaker Sampson Lewkowicz is “doing fine” just one day after he was knocked unconscious during a press conference melee between Sultan Ibragimov and Lance Whitaker.  According to the press release, Lewkowicz said,  “I am fine.  I thank everyone for their kind thoughts and I hold no one responsible for the emotions of these two great boxers getting ready for a real fight.”  The fight was the lead story on Fox Network’s evening news in New York City. Images of Lewkowicz laying unconscious on the floor of Gallagher’s Steakhouse and being removed on a stretcher were shown at least twice on network television in New York.  Whitaker and Ibragimov were in New York to announce their December 15th “Global Warfare” bout, which will air live on pay-per-view from the Seminole Hard Rock Live Arena in Hollywood, Florida.  On the same show, heavyweight contender Samuel Peter returns to the ring for the first time since losing to Wladimir Klitschko to face tough Robert Hawkins in a ten round contest. Also featured in separate bouts will be undefeated junior welterweight Juan Urango and unbeaten Irish prospect John Duddy.  Tickets are on sale now for “Global Warfare”.
