Lazcano-Burton set for tonight in Chicago

Press Release: Former lightweight contender Juan Lazcano appears to be a full-fledged junior welterweight these days. Lazcano, "The Hispanic Causing Panic," weighed in at 141 pounds for Friday's Solo Boxeo main event in Chicago. Lazcano will face Courtney Burton, who also has fought at lightweight. Burton tipped the scales at 139 pounds at Thursday's weigh-in. For the co-feature, Jose Hernandez scaled 129, one pound heavuer than his opponent, veteran Armando Cordoba. Weights were not reported for a previously announced bout between super middleweights Oscar Bravo and Ted Muller, meaning the bout is likely off. Doors at the Aragon Ballroom open at 6 pm local time and tickets are still available.
