Boxxer’s first-ever UK stadium show on Bank Holiday Weekend (Saturday, May 27th) will take place in Bournemouth, England. Mikael Lawal (17-0) will be making the first defense of the British cruiserweight championship he won by stopping David Jamieson in November. Standing opposite him will be Isaac Chamberlain (14-2), making his second trip to Bournemouth following his unsuccessful attempt to take the Commonwealth and European cruiserweight belts in July last year. The show will be headlined by another cruiserweight, hometown hero Chris Billam-Smith. The opponent for Billam-Smith's will be revealed next Monday at a press conference in London. The show takes place at the 15,000-capacity Vitality Stadium – home of Premier League football team AFC Bournemouth.
