As previously announced, IBF welterweight champion Natasha Jonas will headline in her hometown of Liverpool, England against WBC champion Ivana Habazin in a unification clash. The bout's promoter, Boxxer, has announced that a Jonas victory on December 14th puts her on a collision course with WBA champion Lauren Price in what would be a ‘Battle of Britain’ unification match. Price has now been added to the Dec. 14th show against unbeaten Colombian Bexcy Mateus. All the action is available to watch live and exclusively on Sky Sports in the UK and Ireland and on Peacock in the USA.

 

Jonas (15-2-1, 9 KOs) will top the bill in her hometown of Liverpool in her sixth straight world title contest under the Boxxer promotional banner.  Habazin (23-6, 7 KOs) became the WBC champion by outpointing Kinga Magyar to capture the vacant belt in April. The 35-year old from Zagreb, Croatia, who has shared the ring with some of the greatest female fighters of the modern era including Cecilia Braekhus and Claressa Shields, has previously held the IBF welterweight Title and is also a former IBO middleweight champion. 

 

Price (7-0, 1 KO) defends her WBA and IBO titles against unbeaten Colombian Bexcy Mateus. Mateus (7-0, 6 KOs) is a 29-year old from Bogota, and wil be fighting outside of her native Colombia for the first time.
