Rubin Williams W12 Max Heyman… The main event of a Las vegas show over the weekend saw Rubin "Mr Hollywood" Williams (29-2 with 16 KOs) defeat durable Max Heyman (21-9 with 13 KOs) in a super middleweight bout. Both fighters bled by the second round when they both came forward, butting heads. It was Williams landing the cleaner, more effective shots throughout the bout to win the decision. Williams said "I honestly felt I'd catch him and knock him out. I give him credit, though; I hit him with some good shots". Heyman made a fearless effort in the later stages of the bout but was unable to overcome the heart and desire of the hard punching Williams. “He was much tougher than I thought he'd be, to be honest,” said Williams. All three judges scored the bout 115-113 for Williams. Source: Guilty/ Silverhawk press release
