After 22 years on the job, it looks like the Larry Hazzard era is over for New Jersey Boxing. The head of the New Jersey State Athletic Control Board was escorted out of his office late Wednesday afternoon. Few other details were released. As a boxer, Hazzard was a three-time Golden Glove Champion. A member of several New Jersey, boxing and martial arts halls of fame, he was considered a top referee, although he hasn't worled many fights in that capacity lately. He also instituted an instant replay review system this year, making New Jersey the first state to do so. source: aol sports
