Cedric Kushner confirmed to Boxingtalk that Team McCline has "other plans" that do not include undefeated Olympic Gold Medallist Audley Harrison. Kushner feels he'll be able to get McCline back to a title fight without having to face someone like Audley Harrison, whom he described as "not worth the risk." According to Kushner, if McCline is victorious on October 21, "we'll be able to put him fights that will get Jameel in a position to earn much more than $200,000." Obviously Team McCline can't be talking about a Byrd rematch since the offer for McCline to fight Harrison is superior to DKP's $100,000 offer for McCline to fight Byrd. At the end of the day Kushner feels Harrison would be better served to call someone else out because all he's doing is "wasting his breath" by mentioning Jameel McCline.
