Andrey Kudriavtsev (UKR) defeated Antonio Bento (POR) by twelve-round unanimous decision on Wednesday, September 22 in Donetsk, Ukraine. Kudriavtsev now holds the WBA International interim lightweight title. The official scoring was: Patrizio Oliva (Italy) 118-110, Alexander Kalinkin (Russia) 118-110 and Luca Montella (Italy) 118-110. The referee was Manuel Maritxalar (Spain). Kudriavtsev showed to be ready for a big fight after controlling his opponent Bento with great skills.
 
According to WBA International regulations, the interim champion should face full champion Pedro Miranda (Gran Canaria, Spain) within 90 days. This fight was also sanctioned as IBF International Title. Promoter of the event was Union Boxing Promotion and the event took place at the sold out 3500 seats Municipal Donetsk Arena.
