Kovacs' foe quits in Hungary

In Hungary, junior middleweight Attila Kovács (15-1 with 9 KOs) scored a second-round stoppage over Brazilian Dennis De Barros (12-2 with 8 KOs) in a non-title eight rounder. In the first round, De Barros constantly tried to escape from Kovacs punches, having even the referee to deduct one point from him for running away. In the middle of the second round, De Barros claimed to have a hard pain to his belly and gave up. The biggest Hungarian promotional company Felix Promotion was the promoter for this show last night in Gyor, Hungary.  On the undercard Zsolt Nagy (10-0) won by unanimous point decision over French Kaya Tuncay and female Hungarian Boxing star Bettina Csabi (26-0 with 10 KOs) out scored his WIBF Challenger Nadia Hockmi (5-2). source: EBA website
