Rahman-Barrett for WBC interim title?

WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko's quadricep injury  has turned out to be far more serious than originally expected. Klitschko will undergo surgery on his leg in California on Wednesday and will definitely be out of action until September or October. Boxingtalk has also been informed that plans are already in motion to match the WBC's "two" mandatory challengers Hasim Rahman and Monte Barrett for an interim championship while Klitschko recovers.
