Byrd's Deadline is Tomorrow!

Sources close to the situation have informed Boxingtalk.com that IBF heavyweight champion Chris Byrd has until tomorrow night to decide if he's going to accept slightly more than $3,000,000 to defend his title against Wladimir Klitschko in Germany on April 23. It looked as if the deal was going to get done but the negotiations came to an abrupt halt yesterday over differences relating the compensation of Byrd's co-promoter Bill Kozerski. In other news Boxingtalk.com also understands that Hasim Rahman is extremely dissatified with the money he's been offered to face WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko. Team Rahman will be meeting with representatives from DKP on Friday to see if an agreement can be reached before the WBC orders the bout to a purse bid.
