It appears that a fight between IBF heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko and Shannon Briggs is moving forward with a good possibility of getting made. In a recent interview with Emanuel Steward here on Boxingtalk, Steward, who tains Klitschko, said that it's looks like Shannon Briggs is a front runner. The venue would be Madison Square Garden in New York City and Briggs' roots in the Big Apple make it a good fit. Steward admits that Briggs would be a dangerous opponent, especially early on in the fight. Boxingtalk also spoke with Shannon Briggs, and he confirmed to us that negotiations are currently taking place, but nothing is signed as of yet. Boxingtalk understands that Klitschko's negotiator, Shelly Finkel, is traveling on business for Manny Pacquiao, so the fight cannot be signed until he returns.  However, the fight tentatively scheduled for November 11,
