King's Showtime PPV Gets Pushed Back!

Reliable sources close to the situation have informed Boxingtalk.com that DKP has pushed back it's February 19 Showime PPV date. Bernard Hopkins is set to make the twentieth defense of his middleweight crown against Howard Eastman on HBO World Championship Boxing that night. Rather than have clashing telecasts the card has been pushed back to a later date. As Boxingtalk.com first reported yesterday, Kelvin Davis vs. O'Neil Bell, which was originally scheduled to take place on the Feb. 19 show, is now the co-feature to Spinks-Judah II. Other bouts that were scheduled for Feb. 19 include, Wayne Braithwaite vs. Jean Marc Mormeck for the WBC and WBA cruiserweight titles, Monte Barrett vs. Owen Beck in a WBC heavyweight eliminator and Paul Briggs vs. Tomasz Adamek for the vacant WBC light heavyweight title. Boxingtalk.com will continue to keep you updated as more information comes in. Neither Ken Hirshman, nor Don King were available for immediate comment. Remember where you heard it first! (7: 40 PM ET)
