Internet legend turned MMA fighter Kevin Ferguson, a.k.a. Kimbo Slice, has signed an exclusive deal with Elite XC.  Promoted by Gary Shaw and televised on Showtime, Elite XC is the latest MMA promoter trying to compete with the star studded UFC.  Kimbo is coming off of a 1^st round KO of former Olympic Heavyweight Gold Medalist Ray Mercer.  Although no major broadcaster aired the fight, the independent PPV was by carried Kimbo’s internet persona and more than 8,000 were in attendance to witness the sanctioned MMA match.  After a major investor pulled out of the October 12^th fight between Kimbo Slice-Tank, which was to take place in the Atlantic City Trump Taj Mahal, Elite XC jumped at the opportunity to sign Kimbo.  Slice is expected to debut on November 10^th in Corpus Christi TX.  Abbott has been mentioned as a possible opponent.  Source: Sherdog
