Press Release:  Hard-hitting lightweight Kid Diamond and his opponent, Jairo Ramirez, will be at a Top Rank press conference on Tuesday, September 12, 2006 at noontime, at The Orleans Arena. The bout will take place at The Orleans Arena on Tropicana Ave in Las Vegas on Thursday, September 14.  The presser will be in the Gold Room, which is in the lower level of Orleans Arena. Diamond, trained by Miguel Diaz at the Top Rank gym, has "added to his arsenal" according to the chief trainer. "Diamond has always had a good, hard straight punch," Diaz said. "We've been working on bending and throwing a good left hook which is what he has been doing in his recent fights." It was a hard hook to the body which took out Diamond's last opponent, Antonio Wong, on July 27 in Connecticut. Jose Luis Zertuche, who will take on Fulgencio Zuniga, will be at the presser. Plus, exciting Irish middleweight Andy Lee of Limerick, Ireland will be available for interviews. Tickets start at $25 for Diamond vs. Ramirez. First bell will be 5:15 pm and the OLN telecast will begin at 6:00 pm.
