Former IBF welterweight champion Kermit Cintron, now 42 years old and inactive since 2018, seems to be doing well according to his latest social media post: "For those that are wondering what I’ve been doing after retirement-- second year in school, working on my Science and Health (radiography) degree." The records show Cintron with a career mark of 39-6-3 and a 147-pound title reign that lasted from 2006 - 2008. It ended with a loss to Antonio Margarito, who in his next fight was caught cheating with loaded gloves. Did Margarito cheat vs. Cintron? Seems likely, but we may never know for sure. Boxingtalk wishes Cintron continued success and happiness in his post-boxing life.
