Impeccable sources have informed Boxingtalk that IBF cruiserweight champion Kelvin Davis filed for bankruptcy over two weeks ago. Earlier in the week, Boxingtalk.com reported that Davis will defend his title against mandatory challenger O'Neil Bell as the co-feature to Spinks-Judah II on February 5, however we are uncertain of where that bout now stands over potential contractual issues the Davis brothers may have with DKP. If Davis-Bell II falls apart for whatever reason, DKP has several bouts that were originally scheduled to take place on a Feb. 19 PPV ready to fill that void. Boxingtalk plans to speak with Davis shortly, so stay tuned. Remember where you heard it first! (1:20 PM ET)
