Kelly Pavlik requires 108 stitches to hands and arms

In a story dated November 7th, Ring Magazine reports that world middleweight champion Kelly Pavlik sustained cuts on both hands and arms that required more than 100 stitches to close. ESPN then quoted Pavlik's manager Cameron Dunkin with the figure of 108 stitches. The manager said the injury occurred when Pavlik put his hands through a kitchen window he was repairing.  Pavlik is scheduled to make the first defense of his world middleweight title against Jermain Taylor on February 16, 2008.  Dunkin said the fight was still on. "He will be ready to train in about four weeks. He'll be OK. It does not affect the fight at all." source: the ring/ espn
