Kauffman plans busy 2007

Press Release: This Saturday night in Reading PA, Travis Kauffman plans to kick off a busy 2007.  At 7-0 with 5 KOs, the heavyweight wants to have another ten fights by December. His ambitious plan begins at the Riversedge when he takes on Joe Stoffle, 10-9-2 with 10 KOs.  Speaking on his first year as a pro, Kauffman says, "Last year I think I had a problem with smothering my punches.  Last year I just went in there tried to blow a guy out. Now, I am more patient and I allow the fight to develop naturally in my favor.  It's more about learning from your mistakes and I am a lot more experienced because of it." Travis also thanked former champion, Hasim Rahman.   "Rahman gave me a lot of words of wisdom and he is a big influence in my life. He is also a good friend.  He told me how stay focused and that I can be the heavyweight champion of the world because he knows I have the potential."  If successful this Saturday night, Kauffman will be slated for a card in Kansas City in late March. "Look out for me because 2007 is going to be a big year.  I'm looking to have multiple TV dates and put my skills on display for the whole world." The Riveredge is located on Route 183 North, just south of the Reading  Airport. Tickets are available at The Riveredge (610-376-6711), Kauffman's Interiors (610-375-4915), Ted Smith Floors (610-796-2800), and BodyZone Sports Complex (610-376-2100).
