Katie Taylor W10 Flora Pili ... Katie Taylor ended her Hall-of-Fame career with a memorable win in Dublin. Taylor, a two-division world champion and 2012 Olympic gold medal winner, said goodbye after winning a wide points decision against Flora Pili inside a sold-out (80,000) Croke Park. Her final fight was well received by the people of Ireland and they turned out in force to see their favorite fighter one final time. Taylor didn't let them down as she boxed smartly from the outset and although Pili had some moments, the result was never in doubt. After ten rounds, the verdict was rendered in Taylor's favor, with scores of 100-90 (twice) and 98-91. Pili, from France, takes here first career loss in thirteen fights.

Taylor hangs up her gloves with a pro record of 26-1. The lone loss came in 2023 to Chantelle Cameron, but Taylor avenged that loss in an immediate rematch. (Cameron is now one of the best pound-for-pound female boxers, currently holding three junior middleweight titles). Taylor then twice defeated another all-time great, Amanda Serrano in her next two appearance.
