Kameda's TV ratings down, but still dwarf American boxers

Koko Kameda's victory Wednesday over Juan Landaeta drew fewer television viewers than his first win over Landaeta, but the numbers were still staggering compared to any fight in America, where the rarely-acheived gold standard is one million pay-per-view buys.  Kameda's  bout achieved an average viewer rating of 30.1 percent in Japan's Kanto district, according to the ratings firm Video Research, which was significantly lower than the 42.4 percent rating achieved in Kameda's earlier fight with Landaeta in August. source: mainichi daily news photo:http://news.yahoo.com/photo/061220/483/xkan10612201247
