Witter to fight for vacant title?

With Gianluca Branco challenging for Miguel Cotto's WBO strap, the WBC officially named Junior Witter as mandatory challenger to Floyd Mayweather Jr. Boxingtalk expects Mayweather will continue to campaign as a welterweight, therefore Witter will likely be fighting the next available contender for the vacant strap. Juan Urango is the next available contender, but sources infom Boxingtalk that he's having severe hand troubles that had him seeking the advice of a surgeon earlier this week.
