Julio, Diaz added to Main Events show this Saturday

Press Release: Main Events' undercard in Chicago this weekend is headed up by two men who appear in the Boxingtalk world ratings. Knockout artist Joel Julio, 23-0 (20 KOs), who was just added as Boxingtalk's #29 welterweight, will fight a scheduled eight rounder against Christopher "Shaka" Henry, 19-11 (13 KOs)  of the Barbados.

The heavy handed Julio knocked out Carlos Vilches in the third round earlier this year. Henry has fought numerous contenders including Junior Witter, Manuel Gomez, Thomas Damgaard, Joshua Clottey and Joachim Alcine.  Chicago fan favorite and 1996 US Olympian David Diaz, 27-1 (15 KOs) will also appear, against tough veteran John Trigg, 12-28-5 (3 KOs).

Diaz, Boxingtalk's #20 junior welterweight, is looking to stay on the winning track in his second bout since his disappointing loss to Kendall Holt in February of this year. Two months ago, Diaz stopped Tyrone Wiggins in the third round. Trigg, meanwhile, has fought tough competition his whole career including current world lightweight champion Juan Diaz as well as Nate Campbell and Roberto Garcia.
