After defeating Yesenia Gómez in November of last year to win the WBC light flyweight title, and then defending vs. Mirna Jimenez last Saturday, Mexico's Lourdes "Lilttle Lulú" Juárez will face the champion in recess, Yesica Nery Plata. The WBC did not announce a date or venue for the fight. Nery Plata vacated the WBC light flyweight title due to personal problems at the end of last year. Juarez's win this weekend boosted her record to 38-4, while Nery Plata has a career mark of 30-2. Here is what the women had to say about their future match-up:
