GL: It's been a while since we've had you on Boxingtalk. Congratulations on your recent victory. Can you give us some thoughts on that performance? "It was supposed to be a warm up, but he was a very tough fighter, but I outworked him and won a tough fight."
GL: When can we expect to see you back in the ring?
Joshua Clottey: "I'm ready to fight all these guys and right now I'm there and they're all acting like a pussy. How can Kermit Cintron want to fight Jesse Feliciano and not want to fight me? He's supposed to have the world's best trainer and I want to fight him badly, but he doesn't want to fight me."
GL: So you don't think he should be fighting Feliciano, you think he should be fighting you?
JC: "Feliciano is nowhere, who knows him? He just wants to win his fight. He doesn't want to fight the best challenge out there because I am ready to fight him today or tomorrow."
GL: Have you relayed that information to your promoter?
JC: "Right now they are working for me, but he doesn't want to fight. When I was back in Africa, my manager called me and told me I could be fighting him in December on Showtime, but then when I come back I hear he's going to fight Feliciano. Who is Feliciano? Nobody wants to see that fight."
GL: The last time we spoke you had some nasty things to say about Zab Judah, do you still want to fight him? Who do you want to fight the most?
JC: "The fight that I want most is Kermit Cintron. Every network would take the fight. Zab Judah had all the belts and he promised to give me a shot and then he realized giving me the shot would be a problem so he doesn't give me the shot. Nobody wants to fight me because they know I'm a real fighter. I would fight Zab Judah and if Kermit Cintron keeps running I'll fight Zab Judah. If Paul Williams is available, let's do this."
GL: What's the earliest you could return to the ring?
JC: "Right now Greg, I don't know anything and I'm a little bit confused. I think they're waiting until I get 40 years old before they fight me. I don't know when I'm fighting and I don't know who I'm fighting."
GL: Would you fight Ike Quartey?
JC: "I saw on the computer that there is talk of this, if Ike Quartey wants to fight me and DiBella agrees and my promoter agrees, it's on."
GL: How would a fight between you and Ike play out?
JC: "I will beat everybody. If somebody beats me, they're going to be somebody special. I take this seriously and I don't think anybody can beat me now. Ike Quartey cannot beat me."
GL: Ike used to manage you and I understand there's some pretty hard feelings there. Can you touch on that any?
JC: "Greg, Greg, Greg, Ike never managed me before. We worked together in Florida for his fight with De La Hoya, the one that they postponed. He never managed me before. We sparred as friends. I don't know where DiBella gets that from. I'm ready for Ike and I'm ready for any DiBella boxer because I don't like DiBella."
GL: Is there anything you'd like to say in closing?
JC: "Thanks to you and Boxingtalk for always keeping me out there. I am ready to fight any of these guys, tell them to step up and stop being pussies."
