Dynamic, wildly-popular Jorge Arce of Los Mochis, Mexico has arrived into Albuquerque for his 'Latin Fury' showdown against Medgoen Singsurat of Thailand on the JC Chavez Jr vs Ray Sanchez fight card at Tingley Coliseum on Saturday night.
"I not only need a win but I also need to look great doing it," Arce said. "I expect a tough fight against Singsurat. He is very aggressive and comes forward to fight and so do I so it should be a great fight for the fans."
Singsurat has a record of 48-4, 34 KOs, which includes a knockout win over Manny Pacquiao in a world title fight in 1999. Arce has a record of 47-4-1, 36 KOs.  "For this fight I have trained very hard in Los Angeles under my new trainer Javier Capetillo. I knew I need to make changes in my training to get back to the top," Arce said.
He added "...this is a big fight because if I win I get to fight Martin Castillo and
that fight will a memorable one. It will be like Morales-Barrera and Vazquez-Marquez. but first things first, I need to get past Singsurat to think about that great fight."
