Johnston foe named!

Edited Press Release: Roberto Carlos “El Zurdo de Oro” Ortega has replaced injured Luis Ernesto Jose as the opponent for Stevie “Lil’ But Bad” Johnston’s (38-3-1, 17 KOs) on March 31 at the new Ybor City Multi Fight Complex in Tampa, Florida. Jose suffered a cut over his eye during training camp. Ortega was the first to defeat Henry Bruseles, 16-0 at the time, by third-round stoppage in 2002 and he also has a win over Lemuel Nelson. However, his record has slipped to 18-16, including nine straight losses. A former two-time world lightweight champion Johnston has beaten six world champions during his 12-year professional career: Sharmba Mitchell, Jean Baptiste Mendy, Saul Duran, Cesar Bazan, James Page and Angel Manfredy.
