"I'm much stronger at this weight and all of the experience I've gained over the years will help me school some of these so-called contenders. Varela, the former Nicaraguan welterweight champion, has been in title fights and lost against the likes of Marco Antonio Rubio (20-1-1) and Edison Miranda (22-0).
