John Ruiz to resume career!

Heavyweight John Ruiz will continue his boxing career, according to his longtime attorney, Anthony Cardinale.  After Ruiz lost his WBA title to James Toney a week and a half ago, Ruiz's trainer Norman Stone said Ruiz would retire. Apparently, that was the emotion of a tough loss speaking, and upon further reflection, Ruiz has changed his mind.   "Johnny kind of lost focus after the [questionable] knockdown in the seventh round," Cardinale told Boxingtalk.  "But after a lot of thought and discussions with his family and with Stoney and I, he's unretired now. He wants his belt back or a shot at any of the other champions."  Cardinale added, "I just notified the WBA to disregard the announcement.  Johnny's not done. He wants his belt back, so no one should start dropping him out of their rankings." Remember where you heard it first! (7:15 PM ET)
