Press Release: Joey Gilbert Promotions will be bringing its second professional boxing event to Joey Gilbert's hometown of Reno, NV.  The event will be held at the newly built Reno Events Center on Saturday, May 12, 2007. Gilbert, a TV star from the reality show "The Contender” will be headlining the event against an opponent to be named shortly.  Gilbert's last bout resulted in a 12-round unanimous decision win against undefeated Michi Munoz (17-1, 12 KOs) in Lake Tahoe on March 2nd.  In addition, Reno's Derek Hinkey will also fight again after an impressive first round TKO during his pro debut at the Snow Brawl.
