Former junior lightweight champion Joseph “JoJo” Diaz (33-6-1, 15 KOs), age 31, makes his return to the ring today (Saturday) after spending six months in a rehab program, getting himself back into physical and mental fighting shape. The fight takes place on the ProBoxe show at Osceola Heritage Park in Kissimmee, Florida. From Downey, California, Diaz has lost four of his last five. He takes on Abraham Montoya (22-6-1, 14 KOs) - one of the few fighters who has been victorious over former featherweight champ Luis Alberto Lopez.
