Jirov ready to fight "drug-free" Toney tomorrow!

GL: James Toney recently made it clear that he would love to beat you again in his comeback fight. He thinks he'd win it easier than the first fight, is there anything you'd like to say in response? "I would love to fight him on one condition. He needs to make sure his butt is cleaned of the drugs. No more sticking things in your butt."

GL: Would you fight him at heavyweight even though you plan on campaigning at cruiserweight?

Vassiliy Jirov: "I would fight him at heavyweight, but I need to make sure he's not taking any drugs or steroids."

GL: Do you think he was using them when he fought you the first time?

VJ: "Of course."

GL: What are you basing that on?

VJ: "You saw the fight, he took too many punches. Come on, I punch hard. I know how I punch at cruiserweight."

GL: He describes you as a punching bag, and often refers to you as a bum. How do you feel about that?

VJ: "Let him talk, just tell him to sign a contract and he will have troubles. I just need to make sure he's cleaned himself up."

GL: What would you do differently if you fought him again?

VJ: "I would beat him up. I would do things differently and outbox, you will see."

GL: He feels you would be a tune up because he ruined you after your first fight.

VJ: "Talk is cheap. Let him keep talking, he can show me the real thing in the ring."

GL: What's the earliest you'd be ready to fight him?

VJ: "Tomorrow. I'm ready man."

GL: If you don't fight James Toney next when will you return to the ring?

VJ: "Pretty soon. We are working on some things and I will tell KGB once I know about them."

GL: Is there anything you'd like to say in closing?

VJ: "I haven't gone anywhere, I'm ready to fight James Toney and shut his mouth if he steps up. This will be a fun year for me and my fans, I'm ready to kick some butt.
