Chavez-Hernandez II not happening in October!

Lou Mesorana, manager of former WBC junior lightweight champion Jesus "El Matador" Chavez has informed Boxingtalk.com  that Chavez is no longer promoted by Top Rank Inc. Chavez took the first Hernandez fight on the condition that Top Rank would deliver either Marco Barrera, Manny Pacquiao, or Erik Morales. Once Arum couldn't deliver, Chavez requested his walking papers and according to Mesorana, Chavez never had any serious interest in facing Hernandez in a rematch. "They dangled a carrot in front of us to sign, and we did what we said we would do, we fought Carlos in his hometown.
