Former 2000 Olympian Jerson Ravelo contacted Boxingtalk to get the word out that he is currently a managerial and promotional free agent. Ravelo was one of the most highly tauted prospects to come out of the 2000 Olympic games and holds an amateur victory over current IBF Super Middleweight Champion Jeff Lacy. As a professional, Ravelo currently has a record of 14-1 with 9 knockouts. Ravelo's only loss came at the hands of David Lopez in April of 2004. Ravleo still believes that he will ake a statement in is division and is ready to tae on the best at 160 and 168. Ravelo stated that injuries have held his career back at this point and that now he is completely healthly and wants to take on the best to become champion.
