DiBella: "Neither bozo, nor Winky will be Jermain's next opponent!"

Moments ago Lou DiBella provided Boxingtalk with a detailed update regarding the crown jewel of his promotional stable, undisputed middleweight champion Jermain Taylor. Before Boxingtalk was able to ask some of the questions that enquiring minds want to know, DiBella wanted to clarify something. "Jermain's not going to be fighting bozo the clown in his next fight, but he's not going to be fighting Winky Wright either." DiBella said Taylor is expected to return this fall "probably in October" but due to the Arkansas Razorbacks football schedule, Taylor's next defense could be headed to "New York, Los Angeles, or Las Vegas instead of Little Rock, Arkansas as was orginally anticipated. As for the Wright rematch DiBella stated, "Winky has made it clear since the fight and again today on Boxingtalk that he's not interested in the rematch. Jermain Taylor will fight anybody in the world, and if the rematch makes economic sense somewhere down the line that's when we'll discuss it." REMEMBER WHERE YOU HEARD IT FIRST! (6:30 PM EST)
