GL: BoxingTalk.com here with the undefeated middleweight champion of the world, Jermaine Taylor. Big fight coming up on September 29th. Tell us what we can expect to see. "Just expect me to go in there, and do what I always do. I'm going to go in there and win, that's all I know how to do. I'm #1 for a reason, I beat whoever wants to fight. I never ran, I never will."
GL: Does this fight go the distance?JT: I don't know. I'm not going in there looking for a knockout. He's the type of fighter that will come to me, I haven't had that in a while. I'm expecting big excitement in this fight.
GL:Â We saw you box with Cory Spinks, if Pavlik comes to slug are we going to see you slug it out?Â
JT: You know that's my type of style, it's fighting. He's coming to fight, it's going to be a real fight.
GL:Â Will this be your last fight at middleweight?JT:Â I think it will be my last fight at middleweight, I think so.Â
GL: Is making middleweight for the last time going to have any impact on your performance?JT: No, sir. I'm going to do it the right way. I'm going to take my weight down now and not wait until the last minute, like some guys. I'm going to do it the smart way.Â
GL: What do you think about Pavlic as a fighter?JT: He's a great fighter, I think he's strong. I think he comes to fight, I think he brings a fight every time. He doesn't back up a lot. He comes to fight, I think he's a great fighter.
GL: Do you think that he's a legitimate challenger to your throne, right now?JT: I do, I really feel that he deserves the chance. He's got one.
GL: I appreciate your time JT, looking forward to a stellar performance on the 29th. Any closing thoughts for the fans?JT: Just keep watching guys, keep watching me.
