Jeff Resto to make comeback

Press Release: Welterweight Jeffrey Resto will return from two years of inactivity to take on Roberto Valenzuela on March 16, 2007 at Cicero Stadium in Illinois, according to Dominic Pesoli, President of 8 Count Productions. Resto, from the Bronx, New York, sports a record of 19-2 with thirteen knockouts, his most recent win being a tenth round knockout of Michael Warrick at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City on April 28, 2005. He also holds wins over Emmanuel Clottey and former world champion Livingstone Bramble. Mexican native Valenzuela brings a record of 38-29-2 (34KO’s) into the scheduled six rounder. Said Pesoli, “Resto’s has been off for a while, but I’ve seen him fight a few times, he’s got terrific skills and is very popular in New York City.
