Jason Cintron ready to get busy

Press Release: Junior welterweight prospect Jason Cintron, brother of IBF Welterweight Champion Kermit Cintron, is slated for a four-round bout this Friday night in Lancaster, PA.  The decorated and accomplished high school and college athlete is now 3-0 as pro and working with trainer Marshall Kauffman. The opponent Friday night, Jason Jordan, is 3-5-2 but is coming off of a win over a 16-4 fighter. As a football, wrestling and track star in high school, Jason earned a significant amount of accolades, awards and records. Jason was a two time 1st team All American wrestler while setting records in take downs for a single season.  Jason set multiple records in track, and was a star defensive back for all 4 years of high school. Cintron was also a starting defensive back for the two years he attended Thaddeus Stevens College.
Looking to secure 8 fights in 2007, Jason is slated for a March 10th bout if he beats Jordan. "As a fighter I bring a lot.  I train hard," said Jason. "I am always willing to learn and try new techniques.  I'm an exciting fighter to watch and I have a couple different techniques. I can switch stances, fight inside, and I can box. For the fans out there that want to see an exciting, aggressive, well schooled fighter with more than just a one-punch KO, then you need to come out and see me on Feb 23rd at the Lancaster PA Host Hotel."Â
