Jamie Hilt to make last stand vs. Ashley Huston?

Australian junior welterweights Jamie Hilt (9-4-1) and Ashley Huston (3-0) will do battle on July 13th in Toowoomba.  Hilt is a former Queensland champion while Huston has made an ominous start to his pro career - three fights, three wins, three knockouts - all in the opening round. "I'm returning to the ring to achieve my unfinished  goal in Australian boxing," Hilt said. "If Ashley is the man standing in front of me so let it be. He has a good record with three knock outs and I believe it will be a tough fight, however I take no easy fights. If Ashley is coming for the knockout that will be in my favor, I hope he's ready for eight tough rounds.

Huston added: "I'm really excited to fight Jamie Hilt... He is a very tough and handy boxer with size and experience on his side and I can't wait to come up to Toowoomba and challenge him. That's what I love about this sport, I'm the challenger, I'm the under dog, but I promise you I'm coming to fight and I'm coming to win. I reckon I'll even leave Toowoomba with a few extra fans that night. Jamie will no doubt be my toughest challenge to date and I know what it takes to win. I've only had three fights for three first round knock outs and I know Jamie is a different kettle of fish and that's what I love about this fight. A massive thanks to [promoter] Brendon Smith and his promotional team for giving me this opportunity, I'm truly coming to win this fight  and I will win this fight."
